What To Expect

- Skipping the ticket purchase line is guaranteed, but there may still be a security (X-ray) entry line at Hagia Sophia.
- There is no priority access for the X-ray security check.

Important Information

- The tickets you purchase will be sent to you via WhatsApp or e mail , no earlier than one day before your reservation date.
- Please do not purchase tickets if you do not use WhatsApp and e-mail adress.
- Tickets are free for children under the age of 7.
- To receive a free ticket, it is mandatory to bring the child’s passport or ID with you.
- Purchased tickets are non-refundable.

Dress Code

- As Hagia Sophia is an active place of worship, all visitors must follow the dress code:
- WOMEN:
• Must cover their head with a scarf.
• Shoulders and knees must be covered.
• No sleeveless tops or short skirts.
- MEN:
• Shoulders and knees must be covered.
• No tank tops or short shorts.
- If you forget a scarf, don’t worry — you can buy one at the entrance for only 2-3 euros

Accessibility

- Strollers and wheelchairs are not allowed on the upper gallery level.
- Baby strollers must be carried by hand if needed.
- The stairs to the upper gallery are steep and not recommended for guests with mobility difficulties.
- There are no restrooms inside Hagia Sophia.
